Brave New World

Brave New World

Author:
Aldous Huxley

The novel, written in 1931, accurately predicts humanity’s descent into mental degradation due to exotic and addictive technologies. No one controls them; humans voluntarily cede control because of distraction. In a way, the book is more strikingly accurate in predicting our times than George Orwell’s 1984.
